SRK’s Don 2 Vs Tom Cruise’s Misson Impossible IV

December 23 will see two big ticket releases in the country — one a mega Hollywood franchise, the other, a Bollywood sequel.

But quiz co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani about competition for his Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Don 2, from the Tom Cruise action thriller, Mission Impossible IV (MI:IV), and he says nonchalantly, “We’re not worried. In India, Don 2 will always be the first priority for cinegoers. That’s the way it was with Superman Returns and Krrish (2006) too, which released on the same day.”

Ritesh adds that in the last three to four years, Christmas, like Diwali and Eid, has become a favourite festival period for the film trade and the audience alike.
“There are lights up in almost every home and people are in the mood to celebrate. They will definitely come to meet the Don, whom they’ve been waiting for since the last five years,” the co-producer of the biggie asserts.

“Ghajini (2008), 3 Idiots (2009) and Tees Maar Khan (2010) all were Christmas crowd-pullers.”

Point to him that MI:IV was also shot in Berlin, reportedly in some of the same locations, and he insists that’s not true: “Ours is the first Indo-German co-production. Our Don who was operating out of Malaysia in Don—The Chase Begins (2006) has now moved to Europe. You’re in for some visual and SFX treats.”

Shah Rukh’s home production, RA.One, is coming this Diwali. Could another SRK-starrer in two months be an overdose?

“Not when he’s returning to the screen after 20 months. I think his fans are ready for both movies. I’ve seen RA.One and I can promise you that you haven’t seen special effects like this before. Don 2 is a path-breaker in its own way,” he argues, pointing out that in the superhero fantasy adventure, the star is the saviour.

“In Don 2, he’s the bad guy who knocks off the good Vijay at the end of the earlier Don, and now, he returns with more diabolical plans. It’s for Priyanka (Chopra), Boman (Irani) and Kunal (Kapoor) to save the world from him.”

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara iViewed[Reviewed]

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is what anyone will say after watching this movie. This is my take  on the movie ,critics are welcomed too.

Before anything "A very Happy friendship day " being the first Sunday of August.Watched the movie a few days back and yes one can easily say finally a bollywood movie after a long time which is sensible has a good story line and everything that make is awesome.

Hrithik Roshan's silence conveys everything without a word Abhay Deol's Natural acting is commendable too and Imran khan with his poems written by Javed Akhtar demand an standing ovation .

Love ,Friendship ,emotion ,comedy, adventure ;yes buowys the mentally the sick buowys this movie has got it all.The trio had made a pact that eacj one would chose a sport or a deed and the rest two had to do it too. They go for deep see diving and that was a moment when Hrithik realises what he was missing all this time in his busy life which had become money and Carrier oriented . Then they jump from 1500 feet that now that is super awesome.Lastly this almost face death to live again in a bull chase sport in Spain .The tamatino festival of Spain , analogous to India's Holi  was beautifully portrait-ed .Senorita the song sung by the thrio is the most popular song.
One difference that I saw in the movie was the songs nowhere I felt that the songs just dropped in the secene from no where and the hero and the a big crew of people started dancing and doing absurd stuff which is a very common happening is most of Bollywood movies. The songs were very apt and when heard with the movie playing becomes ten times better .
Apart from the songs the six poems in the movie we great too.

The Six Poems

Poem 1

Ik baat honton tak hai jo aayi nahin

Bas ankhon say hai jhaanktiTumse kabhi, mujhse kabhi

Kuch lafz hain woh maangti

Jinko pehanke honton tak aa jaaye woh

Aawaaz ki baahon mein baahein daalke ithlaye woh

Lekin jo yeh ik baat hai

Ahsas hi ahsas hai

Khushboo si hai jaise hawa mein tairti

Khushboo jo be-aawaaz hai

Jiska pata tumko bhi hai

Jiski khabar mujhko bhi hai

Duniya se bhi chupta nahin

Yeh jaane kaisa raaz hai

Poem 2

Jab jab dard ka baadal chaya

Jab ghum ka saya lehraya

Jab aansoo palkon tak aya

Jab yeh tanha dil ghabraya

Humne dil ko yeh samjhaya

Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai

Duniya mein yunhi hota hai

Yeh jo gehre sannate hain

Waqt ne sabko hi baante hain

Thoda ghum hai sabka qissa

Thodi dhoop hai sabka hissa

Aankh teri bekaar hi nam hai

Har pal ek naya mausam hai

Kyun tu aise pal khota hai

Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai

Poem 3

Pighle neelam sa behta ye sama,

neeli neeli si khamoshiyan,

na kahin hai zameen na kahin aasmaan,

sarsaraati hui tehniyaan pattiyaan,

keh raheen hai bas ek tum ho yahan,

bas main hoon,

meri saansein hain aur meri dhadkanein,

aisi gehraiyaan, aisi tanhaiyaan,

aur main… sirf main.

Apne hone par mujhko yakeen aa gaya.

Poem 4 [My favorite ]

Dilon me tum apni betabiyan leke chal rahe ho,to zinda ho tum

Nazar me khwaabon ki bijliyan leke chal rahe ho,to zinda ho tum

Hwa ke jhokon ke jaise aazad rehno sekho

Tum ek dariya ke jaise lehron mein behna sekho

Hr ek lamhe se tum milo khole apni baahein

Hr ek pal ek nya sama dekhe nigahein

Jo apni ankhon mein hairanian leke chal rahe ho,to zinda ho tum

Dilon mein tum apni betabian leke chal rahe ho,to zinda ho tum.

Fantastic film, brilliant poems. Javed Saab take a bow! What do you think of the poems? Tell us, before in the comments section.
