Micromax Q5 Track ball & Headset Profile Problem Solved in 20 seconds

Posted by Unknown On 9:54 AM

OK so Even You are one of the very few not so proud owener of Micromax Q5.The only reason I said not proud inspite it has a better sound quality then Nokia Mobiles of same range is because of two of its very infamous common problems that most of its user have already faced,You being one among those victims I guess.Recently a friend of mine faced the same problem to which I found a very easy solution .Two of its common problem are:

The very beautifull looking track ball which eventually turns out to be the ugliest part of it,  because it considers durt as it's boyfriend and after attracting lot of durt it first becomes black and then finally nonfunctional.

The second one is when you are not able to change from Headset profile even after you have plugged out the headphone,as a consequence you will not be able to listen any sound out of the speaker and all through the headphone.Frustrating isn't it.
    Here are the solutions:

    Problem 1 .
As for the first problem you have just one option and that is go the nearest service center and get the track ball changed.Getting it changed wont give you much pain except for that little money that will drain out cause you fancied a track ball over a touch pad.So wont talk much about this .

    Problem 2.
Now first check if you are facing this problem or not ,do the following checks.
    • No sound is audible through the speakers even the switch off/on tone cannot be heard.
    • When you make a call you cannot either talk or listen without using a headphone.
    • Lastly check that even if you plug-out the headphone "Head phone Plugged out" notification is not being shown and your headset profile doesn't change back even when you try changing from the settings ,no 'Activate option is found'

OK so if the ans is Yes .Then follow the 20 seconds Hack to get the thing right.
This usually happens due to the super awesome Audio jack provided by Yamaha, as Micomax does not make this they are in no way able to get this thing repaired or changed (thats' what the service center says). So what has actually happened , the annswer is, when the headphone was plugged-out the last time the pin inside the jack which disconnects and sends the singnal to the phone that the headphone has been plugged out got stuck somewhere.

I checked the internet for the solution but didn't find a good one and found the best one on my own.
    Steps:
    • First thing first, go get a ball point pen and take out the refile.
    • Now insert the refile inside the jack plug where you insert the headphone ;deep inside.
    • Caution :Do not use a pin or anything pointed.
    • Now apply some pressure and move the pen hap-hazedly inside the hole (first just try pusing is straight and then try out moving it) untill you get the message;
    "Earphone plugged out"
this wont take more than 20 seconds.

Voila you have just repaired yours phone using a ball pint pen refile.
Tell me if you all are facing any other problem and I will try to give a solution aslo tell me if this was helpfull to you.
